Preparing To Send A Kid To College-Part 3

You've dropped them off and now what to expect-- and the unexpected too.  The last and final installment of the college send-off blogs.  Whatever you are feeling is normal (within reason).

Lee, this is so well written and so informative. I think you should put it into a magazine article and publish it early next August. It would be great information for parents as they begin to plan, pack and prepare for the drop-off. Or...you could market it to high schools to pass out at graduation time.

I was reminded of a column I wrote 4 years ago after I dropped my son with autism off at a boarding school "out east." I recognized at the time the parallels between what I’d done and what most parents do - take their kids to college. It’s tough but it’s good for all. In your spare time, check it out:) "Time to Visit the Void" http://bit.ly/pgRRIn
